Q: can Aciphex cause an allergic reaction such as hives and itching even after taking it long term?

Hi Judy,

Thank you for your question. It is not likely (though possible) that you are having an allergic reaction the Aciphex if you've been taking it for a long time. Is there anything else that could have cause the allergy? A change in laundry detergent or handsoap maybe? Or even a new food? If you continue to have problems, you should talk to your doctor about discontinuing the Aciphex. I hope this helps!
