Infant reflux

nina

My 3yr old son had reflux as a baby which was treated with Zoton. At 18months of age it appeared to be gone and the medication was stopped. For 6months now he has complained of all the typical symptoms again. When taken to our G.P. she prescribed Zoton once again and it is slightly better but still causing a lot of pain. He also often complains of sore legs and I wonder could this be related? Should I see a specialist?

Hello Nina,

I am sorry to hear that the reflux has returned. What reflux symptoms are you seeing? I am not sure how the leg pains are connected to the GERD. Does he show you where it hurts? Is it joints like hip, knee or ankle or all over?

Sorry for all of the questions. I will try to assist you as best I can.
