Q: can a slice of apple at bedtime help acid reflux

i have heard that a slice of apple at bedtime can help acid reflux, is this true?

There are a lot of websites that have folk remedies on them. I'm sure for some people this may work as the apple may help absorb some of the acid and give the acid something to work on. For others, the acidity of the apple may cause more reflux. But, since this is unlikely to hurt the easiest solution is to give it a try and keep a log to see how things go.
