This could be a symptom of reflux. For me, that feeling often accompanies more heartburn but occasionally comes on it's own as well. I have found that for me simethicone (trade name Gas-X) really helps with that pain. But, I need to caution you that you should be checked by a doctor before self medicating for it because heart problems can feel very similar to reflux and gas.

Hi. I'd like to know if I'm experiencing Acid reflux. I've been having heartburn for a while, like a couple of weeks, right in the center of my chest, between my breasts exactly. I was also vomiting a bit; more like spitting up, honestly, but with the heaving and nausea of vomiting. Now the heartburn is Worse; like my chest is tearing. I've been having alot of gas-like feelings, and my stomach is constantly making noises; I assumed I was just hungry (even though I wasn't having hunger pains.) But no matter what I do, it seems to be getting worse, and I'd like it to stop! Do you think this could be Acid Reflux, and if so, do you have any tips as to how to make it a little more bearable?
