My 7 month baby with GERD is teething, her first tooth has just cut through slightly. She has been constipated for weeks and now is having diaherrea....can anyone tell me if this is normal? so very difficult to tell if she has a bug as she is generally very fractious....txs to anyone with advice / experience!

Hello!
I am sure it is a bit surprising to you going from constipation to diarrhea. Babies with reflux are full of surprises aren't they?
I have heard some parents report diarrhea with teeth coming thru but you are right- a virus can cause diarrhea too. You should call the doctor right away if you are concerned about dehydration. If she is eating well and has plenty of wet diapers, you could wait a bit and see if she gets better on her own.
Lets hear some teething stories from other parents. Any ideas?
