As the person stated, a hernia is a part of you...in fact, it is an organ that pushes through a weakened muscle.  I don't know too much about the chiropractor fixing the hernia, I would love to find out more since I too have hiatal hernia.  I don't take medicine because I have eliminated most if not all foods that cause problems for me; however, pressure and the like symptoms still continue.  I also have an annoying stomach bulge that is fatter than my lower stomach (very embarrassing), but hey, at least I don't vomit, and have heartburn all the time...whew! : )    Creditials: "A" student in Anatomy and Physiology, was an "A" student in nursing (very sensitive to smells, so I had to drop out...you wouldn't believe the smells in nursing...yuck!), and also a hiatal hernia sufferer.
