can gallstones mimic acid reflux symtems

i am being treated for acid refluxe but i have severe pain after eating only a small portion.get diarrea and sometimes throw up .tthe pain is at the center at the breastbone.i have had cat scans,mris,and upper and lower scopes.now my doctor says i have several gallstones.i have lost 47 lbs in 2 years.can gallstonesbe at the route of my problem.      llaura.
