have you tried just lemon juice?  I know that's still acidic ... maybe get creative and mix your own - honey with some very mild mustard?  (imitation honey-dijon!)  I don't know whether just some apple juice/cider instead of vinegar.  Or maybe cider vinegar would be milder.

It may be the fat in the salad dressing that sets off your reflux, and not the vinegar, although the vinegar could irritate a sore throat from reflux, that sure can happen to me...

Maybe a ranch or blue cheese would be gentler.  I don't care for them myself but many people do.

If you find something that works, please 'report back' - others may be interested!

I got sick of dealing with GERD day in and day out, I decided to try an anti-candida diet, focusing on whole foods (vegetables, lean meats, brown rice).  For salad dressing, it is recommended to use high-quality expeller pressed oil, fresh lemon juice, and Bragg's liquid amino's (find at your local health food store).  Put that in a small bottle, shake, and its genuinely delicious.  I love it and look forward to eating salads so I can put some healthy dressing on top :-)
