I HAD a gastric banding surgery two years back but i was taking 40 mg nexium for almost six months since i was having severe bloating and acid reflux andi was diagnosed with GERD. in spite of the surgery and regular exercise i havent lost much weight and now i am wondering if it is bcoz of the nexium i was taking. Like sharon i feel as if my metabolism is non existent . but it does relieve my acid reflux
