Reflux is a known symptom of food allergy. When you are allergic to a food, your body overreacts to one or more of the porteins in the food. If the gastrointestinal sysem is the "contact organ," or the part of the body that shows the allergic reaction, reflux symptoms may be the result. Even though our book, Making Life Better for a Child with Acid Reflux, is geared toward children, the book contains two chapters by two different experts that address allergic reflux that you may find helpful. In addition, Jan Gambino recently wrote a SharePost supporting the connection between migraines and reflux. I hope this helps!
