I've had a severe sore throat and fever for 3 mos. Acid reflux?

I had mono 6 mos ago. I've had 3 blood tests done showing nothing but mono. I've seen an infectious disease dr. and an arthritis dr. Their best guess is go to an ear-nose-throat dr it might be acid reflux. My throat gets so sore that I pop cough drop after cough drop to keep from going insane. I am in excellent health otherwise. Take no medications. Was very active. I'm 46. Also, have swollen glands on the sides of my neck. My normal temp is 97.7 Fever has been 99-100.2 most of the time but has spike over 101 three times in three mos
