Melissa,   Fever is the bodies reaction to an infection or attack of some sort. While it does not usually happen as a result of acid reflux, it is possible that the acid reflux has caused an infection in your lungs or perhaps even something as serious as Barrett's Esophagus, a pre cancerous condition. I see that you have posted another question with more facts. I will move foward to answer that one in a little while. Hang in there! Vicki M
