I have been taking Nexium, Prevacid and acifex as my insurance allows with the tiers they have for the past 5+ years, a pill in the morningbefore breakfast, my family Dr and my Gasto;egist, never took me off it, because it is working, however if i can loose 10lbs i can manage without. I am not obese, but I am about 15lbs over, and no matter what I try i cannot lose any. As far as i remember i have no problem taking this medine for thr rest of my life, NO REFLUX thats what really counts. Get your gastreologist to run the pipes down your throat it is a medical procedure, he may find the problem. Hope you feel better and get back on the NEXIUM, by the way I take the 40mg tablets.
