reflux/ nausea after gallbaldder removal surgery

In October 2008 I had my Gallbladder removed as I constantly had nausea and vomitted at least three to four times a week. Since having it removed I have been worse hospitalised a few times had many blood tests, ultrasounds and a 24 hour PH monitor test. This test showed that my acid levels were quite high and reffered me back to surgeon to have nissen fundoplication surgery. The surgeon requested Barium Swallow scan which showed I didn't have reflux going up my osophesus. I am currently taking motilium and pariet I have no idea what is wrong and prior to the last 12 months I have always been healthy with no problems. I am only 28 and wishing to start a family ASAP. If anyone has any answers I would really appreciate your feedback

Hello! It sounds like the GI doctor and the surgeon need to get together and figure out a treatment plan. If your acid levels are high on the probe, would medication bring the levels to normal? Perhaps that is why the surgeon did not feel there was a need to perform the surgery. Hard to say. Meanwhile, you are stuck in the middle!
