Q: gastroparesis

does honey and garlic help patient with gastroparesis?any medecine for nausea?and does treatment is for long trem?wht kind of food is suitable?iam taking bacrtim and still feeling nausea.plz i need help.is gastroparesis is simular 2 irritable bowel syndrom?any more details please.how long is the treatement?is my illenness curable?i appreciate your reply.what is the reason for gastroparesis?does the illness cause cancer?

The above is a link to information about gastroparesis. Has your doctor prescribed any medication for this? Has your doctor suggested why you have it? It can happen after a virus or be due to another disorder such as diabetes. Being on bactrim suggests that your doctor is assuming it is due to illness.

 

Irritable bowel can cause both moving food through the system too quickly or too slowly as with gastroparesis.

 

The bactrim could actually contribute to the nausea.

 

You may want to go back to your doctor to talk to him about your concerns and how severe your symptoms are. He should be able to give you more specific answers.
