Hi D. Hidalgo,     While online sources are great for getting information to ask all the right questions, no online resource can take the place of your doctor's care and advice. You should see a doctor to make sure there is nothing seriously wrong causing the chest pain. Heart conditions can mask themselves as acid reflux and vice versa. Better to be safe.   Dr Todd Eisner advises to have chest pain checked out. You can read the entire sharepost here.   While pain between the shoulder blades and mid chest bone area can be a typical symptom of some acid reflux it is best to have it checked by your doctor. You can read more about the symptoms of acid reflux here in the symptoms database.   Take care and let us know how you are doing!   Vicki M
