have been diagnosed recently with GERD/hiatus hernia.. I have been experiencing severe pain in my chest (feels like sternum area) and it even feels tender to press on and pain in my back between shoulder blades- I don't really feel a sense of heartburn- it almost feels like pain I had with gall stones years ago altho I no longer have gallbladder- can that just be from Gerd?
