Q: Rapid onset Acid Reflux and Dysphagia?

I have never had stomach problems before, but for the past 2 months I have been having on and off again heartburn. The pain is centralized right below my ribcage.   THEN, last night I was having trouble swallowing my saliva. I was getting nauseous and kept gagging. I couldn't sleep all night because I had to wake up to swallow a mouth full of saliva - it's like my brain forgot to tell my throat to swallow!  Does this have anything to do with the acid reflux? And what can I take or avoid to help ease the symptoms? Thank you!

You really need to see a doctor about this. It may be related to reflux but it could be other things as well such as a hiatal hernia, a gall bladder issue, etc. You don't want to treat for reflux without getting a thorough exam and diagnosis.
