Q: It feels like I have phlegm in back of throat and it's difficult to swallow.Dry mouth.

I just had my 5th EGD yesterday, they ballooned the esphoghus, I should be swallowing great today! I awaken at night, extremely dry mouth, and I swallow and it feels like its too dry and my throat feels like it won't swallow.  I get phlegm going down back of throat, and I know that is a problem. I have very bad sinus also.  I have recently started taking allergy pill, per dr. suggestion.  I have been on Aciphex for years. 17 months ago after my last EGD, dr.recommended 2-20mg pills a day. My new gastro doctor put me on Kapidex couple weeks ago. This is a new problem with the wake-up-feel-like-choking thing, and I went to my MD next day. He put me in touch with this new gastro dr and he then did the EGD yesterday. I do have a very large hatal hernia also, pushing up into esph. But this new can't swallow is scaring me. I am up now at 3am writing this cuz I awoke hour ago with this problem again. Can you offer any insight?  Thank you.
