No cure in sight. I have been taking Prilosec over-the-counter 20mg for 6 months now with no improvement. I don't have the hoarseness but I experience continued nightly Acid Reflux. On days when I don't take the Prilosec my Acid Reflux is worse. I have tried other proton pump inhibitors with no improvement. My doctor recommends that I continue with the medication. Good Luck
