which is better of esophigitis,previcid or nexium

I have esophogitis and am taking 2 previcid a day and is barely making me comfortable,I was wondering if nexium would be a better choice

Both Nexium and Prevacid are Proton Pump Inhibitors so they have the same mechanism of action. But, people react to them differently so if you are not getting relief from teh Prevacid you should discuss other options with your doctor.
