I have similar problem and I'm wondering the same thing. I have acid reflux and sometimes get the symptoms you refer to including constipation and specifically pain on the right side of the lower body. I'm trying to see if there is a connection between the two as well. Any luck on your end?

not sure if acid reflux itself can cause constipation but have read and heard many times that excessive use of antacids will for sure. I have been experiencing the same problem. When constipation occurs it can cause the acid to back up. This really helped me and I hope it helps you. Btw get you a enema or stool softener every so often when you experience constipation.
