Along with lightheadedness/dizziness,chestpain,fast heartbeat and sporatic pain throughout your body?I also have swollen veins in both my palms.
Q: can acid reflux cause problems with your colon?

Have you been checked for heart problems? The symptoms of heart problems are reflux are very similar. With the other symptoms you are having I would be concerned about your heart.
As far as the colon goes. There are many of us who have reflux also have issues with the lower GI system. Not necessarily that the reflux causes the problem but maybe that the whole GI system is affected.
