I've Been on PPI's for over 5 years. During that time I have had generalized anxiety with occasional panic attacks. From what I have read ppi's can make it dificult to absorb some nutrients such as B1. Our bodies need certain nutrients to maintain balance. I know that seratonin is dependant on some nutrients that may become lacking when taking nexium. Low seratonin can cause depression and anxiety. Also my dentist says that ppi's can cause dry mouth and enzyme defeciency which can affect oral health.   Best of luck! Paul
