I get food stuck,clear my throat alot,got heart burn along with the acid,weight loss,loss of appetite,nausea,vomiting,a cough,horse voice. I am only 25. I got Gerd,Acid reflux,A Small Hiatial Hernia,Mild Gastridas,Gastroparesis and IBS. I need to gain weight. Reglan has too many side effects.
Q: I got acid reflux and gerd bad and it's causing chest pains and a cough and other symptoms and my heart races also. What is best to take for that? I am only 25. I can't sleep at night much.

You really need to see a doctor about this to develop a good plan for you. Most doctors are not jumping right to Reglan right now due to the side effects and lawsuits. There are a variety of medications, preventive measures or even surgical treatments that need to be considered in both the long and short term plan for you.
