It is definitely worth seeing a doctor about. The acid that is coming up can do damage to his esophagus, his sinuses and his teeth. He may also want to try some of the preventive treatments to see if these help. It will be good information to take to his doctor as well if any of the preventive things do help. He may also want to keep track of what he eats and when so he can see if there is any connection between symptoms and food.

Best of luck - Stephanie
