Dear Sophia's Mom, You have had quite an eventful 11 weeks. I hope things calm down very, very soon. I am not aware of a connection between thrush and GERD. Do you think she has thrush and GERD? It sounds like the medication and thickened feeds have helped with the vomiting. I wonder if you need to have the pediatrician look in her mouth and see if the white coating is thrush or something else. It might have seemed like the medication caused the projectile vomiting. Sometimes babies with GERD seem fine for the first few weeks and then start showing symptoms. I am sure you are not eager to try the thrush medications again after your experience with them the first time around. Let me know what you find out! Jan Gambino The Reflux Mom
