Q: ACID INDIGESTION AND STOMACH BLOATING

WHAT MEDICATION IS BEST FOR RELIEVING ACID INDIGESTION AND STOMACH BLOATING. i HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH GERD. IS THIS CAUSING SYMPTOMS OR GASTRITIS? WHAT SUPPLEMENTS ARE GOOD FOR RELIEF AS WELL?

There are five pages to the medications with a different class of medication on each page.

 

Most people wind up starting with the anti-acids. Then when things get bad enough they will either move to H2 blockers or Proton Pump Inhibitors. But, this should only be done under the advice of your doctors. There are drug interacation precautions and side effects of all of these medications. The doctor who diagnosed you should be able to start you along this process. It can take a long time though to come up with the right treatment regime for you.
