My stomach became very swollen and then I sat down and I burped for seriously a minute or more straight and it burned my throat and mouth and had a very foul smell like sulfur.

Here's my experience: I lived in a 3rd world country for 10 years and occassionally had these nasty burps and gas.  A fellow missionary who grew up in PNG believed that it was caused by intestinal parasites.  A simple dose of anti-parasite medication always took care of the problem.  I don't recommend the medicine for long term or repetetive use as it's hard on the liver, but you can also research natural remedies.

hi there the missionary is right, the paracite is called a helecobactor i had a endoscopy and colonoscopy to diagnose theis, i was burping very foul eggy burps for a while followd by sickness and dioareaha to the point that i had lost 2 stone (down to 5 1/2 stone before the nhs would give me thesee tests as they thought that i was causing myslft to be anorexic . ... i have  now went and got my own private health care but my advice would be get straight to the docyor and demand to be refered to the gastrio intestinal clinic before it gets any worse. also a helecobactor is very hard to get rid of so stay at it. hope this helps
