Q: I have had a chronic cough for years and it is getting worse! I have been to 3 different doctors wi

with 3 differenct diagnoses.  One was COPD, second was asthma, third was acid reflux.  I have had x-rays of of chest and this is what was concluded from them.   I just read on the website that chronic cough could possibly be from GERD.  How interesting!  My family doctor, a lung specialist and an ear, nose and throat specalist could not give me a definite answer.  All they wanted to do was put me on steriods, which I am highly allergic to and I will not take.  Can you help?

AND IN ANSWER TO YOUR COUGHING I DONT KNOW IF YOUR ON HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE MEDS OR NOT BUT IF YOU ARE YOU MIGHT WANT TO TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR AND LET HIM OR HER KNOW THAT.  GO TO YOUR PHARMACIST AND ASK ABOUT THE MEDS AND GET HIS OPINION THEY ARE A WEALTH OF INFORMATION THAT WE DONT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF. BE WELL
