Suffer from acid reflux now starting to get allergic reactions hands/feet/throat is this related.

Issue is as i explain above the allergic reaction started about 6 months ago after big meals i think becuase there seems to be no consistancy as to food groups. It began with right hand side of my tongue swelling up but now happens all the time on my hands, feet inside of bicep. Worringly it has now moved to my throat. Of course all my family have an opinion but recently someone told me that these reactions could be caused by my acid reflux. Can anyone help?

I wish I could ANSWER this... but in reality, I have a similar QUESTION.  But I have a feeling that the answer may very well be "yes."

I have never had acid reflux.  A while ago, I would get acid reflux if I didn't eat for a while.  Once I ate, things would go back to normal.

Recently, however, I started occassionally breaking out in milld hives.  Just an itchy bump here and there.  This eventually stopped.

However, now I have almost consistent acid reflux for the past few days.  And, starting yesterday, the lymph node in my neck/throat on the right-hand side has been bothing me.  I don't have a full blown cough or a sore throat (except for the pain from the acid reflux)... so I doubt it is a cold or something else.

I have not tried any medications yet, but I think that if I treat the acid reflux, my lymph node problem might go away.  In the meantime, the allergic reaction seems to have already subsided on its own.
