Q: all my acid reflux symptoms are oral! why?

I was diagnosed with acid reflux a few years ago.  My symptoms are all oral and I have none of the other symptoms others have.  My specialist just says its not typical but it still acid reflux.  Is there anybody else out there like me?

Thanks for your question. It looks from this post that you were able to connect with at least one other person with oral symptoms. Have you had any more luck?

Oral how? Acid in the throat? Acid eating the teeth? Acid giving you sores on your mouth? I've never heard of it. I think it sounds kinda strange and I would talk to some more doctors. Acid Reflux starts from the stomache, up through the throat. How could it just be oral? Sounds way crazy to me. Check with another doctor
