I am having alot of pain in my chest. It happens alot and it happens when at rest. My doctor thanks that it could be my acid reflux. It does not burn like acid reflux. I am over weight by about 70 lbs I have high blood pressure, cholestrol and diabetes. I also have had alot of aching in both of my legs. Is this signs of acid reflux?

Hi Nikki,

The pains in your chest could be the acid reflux. Many people with Acid Reflux do not have the burning associated with it, but they have pain in their chest. It's best to make sure your doctor is aware. While online sites are great places to get information so that you ask all the right questions, they can not take the place of your doctor's medical advice.

Dr Eisner, resident expert on Acid Reflux addressed the chest pain issues in this sharepost. You can read the entire article here.

Hope this helps! Take care and stay in touch!
