Hi,   Vicki   I came across this website.  I'm doing some research on GERD and esophogitis.  I'm going through same thing as Judy.  I was diagnose with esophogitis.  I'm taking pantoprazole, and metocolopramide.  But the burning on my throat comes and goes. Sometimes I cannot stand it.  I talk to my doctor and was told that if my symptons don't improve that I need to see a specialist.  I'm just worry about the cancer part.  I found your respond to Judy helpful.  It's hard to avoid the foods I use to eat. I just want to get better.   Maria
