Hi.  I get that burning sensation and taste, in my throat and chest from my acid reflux.  I've found that Gaviscon really helps.  The liquid form is better.  You can get it from the pharmacy.  I suggest the double strength or peppermint one.  Can't hurt to try it.  Good luck.
