Does Acid Reflux worsen when pregnant?

I've dealt with severe acid reflux for over 11 years.  6 Years ago I had the nissan fundoplication op to fix it, but it was unsuccessful, and I am no better off.  I'm now nearly 12 weeks pregnant and have noticed my acid and reflux symptoms worsening.  The last week has been really bad, and I'm wondering if this is going to continue to worsen the further along I get in my pregnancy.  If you're wondering if this is just morning sickness, It's not.  I've had acid reflux for long enough to know the difference. (Mouthfuls of food coming back up, the taste of acid and vomit in the back of my throat, the burning sensation, tired, weak and sick.)  I know that when some people gain weight, their symptoms worsen, and wondered if this is the same thing...  I'm really interested to hear from anyone that has been through pregnancy with acid reflux and how it was for them.
