This happens to me when I eat certain foods like curry or red beans and rice with certain sausage in it. In fact, it happened SO BAD last night, I thought I was not going to make it.   I stopped eating curry for dinner. That pretty much took care of that. But yesterday, I made red beans from scratch and had them for a late lunch aroud 2pm. I did not go to bed until 1 30 am, so I thought I was safe. Maybe not having anything else for dinner did not help, and eating way too much of the red beans didn't either. Also, capping it off with a milk shake....not a good idea I am thinking.   I am thinking it had to do with the sausage I used this time since it was different from the last times I made this dish. I did not have anything happen to me until this different sausage was used.   Do gall bladder problems make this worse ? I seem to be having symptoms of gall bladder prolems.
