does nexium have a side effect of edema?

On the Nexium insert it states that in less than 1% of patients in the studies edema was a side effect.
That said - it is important to discuss any new symptom especially after starting a new medication with your doctor. It may be related to your medication or it could be something totally unrelated. Either way it may be an important piece of your puzzle that your doctor should know about.
