J,

The foods that cause acid reflux may differ from person to person. Typically peanut butter is not on the list of foods to avoid with acid reflux. But if you are experiencing problems after eating peanut butter I would recommend cutting it out of your diet.

I have been diagnosed with GERD.  I am in the process of trial and error to see which foods I need to avoid, and peanut butter has made the list.

I have personally had problems with acid reflux eating peanut butter before I go to bed.

Maybe it's the oils or something else in the PB but I would NOT recommend it if you have  GERD.
