Hello Terrie, Projectile vomiting needs to be reported to the doctor. There are several reasons for projectile vomiting, including reflux but only a doctor can diagnose the problem. It might help to keep a journal for a week or two and bring this information to the doctor. Maybe the journal will show a pattern-maybe it happens more in the am or the pm? after a nap? after eating solids?
Hope you get some answers!

thanks. I have reported it to the doc but they say nothings wrong and to burp her more often. she only occasionally does this. we have written down when and how often she does it but docs say its nothing to worry about. i dont enjoy feeding her at night and having to change all our clothes and bedsheets, you know?
I'm just concerned. would you suggest doing anything other than journals? sometimes its food that triggers it in the middle of the meal, sometimes its hours later, sometimes its as soon as she finishes her milk. just random. Shes ALWAYS had to be burped alot and hard, would that be a sign of reflux?
