Q: Does my son suffer from acid reflux?

I think my 2 month old son suffers from acid reflux, but he over eats. I have no problem with his feedings. It's shortly after he eats when the cring and fussyness takes place. He wants to eat frenquently.About every 2-3hours. What's wrong with my baby?

Hello!

Could you tell me a bit more about Daniel. What does he eat? how much? is is high on the growth chart?

My daughter was a comfort feeder (see the blog that I wrote about Your Baby's Feeding Style). She wanted to nurse 24/7. It helped her manage her reflux by pushing the acid back down.

Milk soy protein intolerance (MSPI) may cause discomfort and fussiness after eating too. Be sure to keep a journal of his feedings for a few days and the pattern of fussing, crying and sleep. Bring this information to the doctor and ask for some assistance with these symptoms.

Let me know what you find out.
