Vicki M,      I too have this pain. Feels like a heart attack (I've had one) but I was admitted into the hospital and thoroughly check out by several test and it was not my heart again.  Had the scope ran down my throat and they found some irritation around about the sternum area.  Hard to explain, but it feels like a sharp acidy feeling that of course brings on the thought it might be a heart problem.  With this sharp pain, comes mid to lower back pain and jaw pain.  I have been in the hospital twice and both times the heart was ruled out.  Is there something out there that explains what we're having and what can we do to remedy it.
