Q: My 19 month old has been vomiting for four days straight, once a day, same time everyday.

My 19 month old has been vomiting for four days straight. It's only once a day, and the same time of day (between 6pm-8pm). She is acting normal the rest of the day. No sign of dehydration, and no diarrhea. She had acid reflux problems as an infant, but grew out of it around 12 months of age. Maybe this is a return of that?

Reflux can flare back up. Another possibility is allergies. I know here in Maryland allergies are in full swing. By evening we all look worse for the wear. Or, could it be that she's just very active that time of day after eating a full dinner? My middle child had the least problems with reflux but he is my easy vomiter. If he eats too much he'll vomit. If he's in the car reading he gets car sick. If he runs too hard he'll vomit.

If it continues and you can't figure it out you'll definitely need to take her in to her doctor to have her doctor help you figure it out. Regardless of the cause if it continues daily vomiting can do damage to her throat, mouth and teeth.
