Thanks for your question. Because everyone can react to medications differently, you should talk to your doctor if you think Prevacid is or may be cuasing you colitis. Onlyhe or she can tell you for sure if this is the case. Colitis is not listed as a common side effect or precaution of taking Prevacid. According to the very technical professional drug information, colitis occurred in less than 1% of domestic tial patients or subjects.
