Q: How can I stop the acid in my mouth while I am off my meds in preparation for a Bravo test in 2 days

I have GERD and acid reflux.  I have had an upper GI, which I failed, and also a gastric emptying study, which I also failed.  I am having a Bravo test in two days which requires me to be off my Nexium, Zantac, Motrin and aspirin meds for a week.  I am on day 5 and it is 4:15 am and I have had acid in my mouth and throat for six hours now.  I can't get rid of it and the burning is driving me crazy.  My salivary glands are working overtime and the saliva is thicker. Is there something I can do to calm the dragon until I get tested?
