Thanks for your question. There is nothing in rabeprazole's drug information indicating that it causes cancer. Additionally, chest pain is not listed as a common side effect. That is not to say, however, that your pain is not. You should talk to your doctor about this pain, since only he or she can really diagnose what the problem may be. I hope this helps
