Saturday, December 13, 2008 wendytaylor asks

Q: my doctor says i have GERD. I dont display any of the symptoms of GERD.

He did blood work and a endoscopy and determined that I have GERD.

Oh, sounds just like my situation. I had a red throat and that was all -- no heartburn ever (not even when I was pregnant!). So, if the tests say you have it then they must be showing some type of acid erosion in your throat, esophogus, etc. I am not sure what a blood test is looking for though. What was the reason they tested you if you had no symptoms? Also, are you taking any meds now?
