Q: What can cause stomach rumblings, acidic belching, loose bowel about 6 hours after eating?

Lately, when I eat, about 6 hours later or longer, I have horrible bloating, stomach rumbling, belching with a horrible taste, and eventually frequent going to the bathroom with loose bowel, upset stomach, and gas.  I can't figure out if it's a specific food or category of food.  Common foods have been bread, chocolate, popcorn, dairy.

A couple of my children and I have gone through this.  It turned out to be food allergies.  Gluten for two of us and dairy protein (whey) and eggs for the other two.  You might be able to have your doctor do a food allergy blood test.  However, they are not completely accurate.  An elimination diet, like the Feingold Diet, would be another good thing to try.  Corn can be another allergen.  Just about everything you listed could be a source of food allergies.
