I have recently had an endoscopy for my acid reflux & hiatal hernia. I am now having boughts of my throat closing up when I cough or stretch my neck up & get a twitch. After a choking episode I am very lightheaded.

You should see your doctor ASAP. You may have some swelling related to the endoscopy. Your doctor will want to find the cause of this especiallly given that you are getting lightheaded. You do not want to wind up in a crisis situation.
