It seems the jury is out on Pineapple. For me it definitely causes reflux as well as sores in my mouth. But, some say that due to it's digestive enzymes it can help.

For example, Jennifer Rackley, Nutritionist, says to avoid it due to the acidity.

But, Dr. Todd Eisner, gastroenterologist says that pineapple promotes digestion and helps inflammation.

Sometimes, it seems the best way to find out is to try it, keep a log and see what happens.

Hello! Pineapple juice and all citrus (orange, lemon, etc) are full of acid. Best to take a sip and see how it goes. You might need to avoid it altogether.
